Empty,
Barren,
Shorn of weed,
It glows
With light,
Reflecting
Off the surface.
It shows
Age,
Wisdom
Experience.
Not
Shame
Disgrace.
I cover it,
With
Someone elses
Coiffure.
Is it a cover
For my head or me?
A wig.

I remember a small poster in a friends office somtime back.
For some people God has given a perfect head. For others he has covered it up with heir.
Yhe picture behind a fully bald head. It was worth mentioning now.
Whether one covers one's baldness with a physical wig, or covers up with a verbal wig as stated above, it belies insecurity. Hair is not the issue, the judging of oneself and his worth based on physical attributes is.
